Job Requisition: Marketing and Websites Manager

BCS Management is seeking a full time marketing and website manager.  This role is responsible for managing and coordinating both internal marketing efforts and our GovWeb municipal website department.   This position requires the ability to coordinate their own work as well as develop, organize and coordinate the work of others.  This person is the primary interface with GovWeb clients and leads internal marketing programs. 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead continuous improvement and planning for website maintenance clients
  • Control and manage continuous improvement of BCS management website
  • Provide SEO support for all new website content
  • Develop and manage email campaigns in Mailchimp for BCS and clients
  • Develop Information Architecture for new website clients
  • Copywriting for blogs, new webpages, and related web collateral
  • Develop BCS business /project proposals for clients
  • Assist team in producing visual design proposals for new and existing clients
  • Collaborate with senior technical staff to perform testing, debug, security analysis and audits, and other technical tasks as requested.
  • Development and maintenance of marketing materials and contact lists
  • Assist management team in proactive identification of relevant conferences and events and plan marketing efforts accordingly. 
  • Run Google Analytics and create monthly/quarterly activity reports
  • Assist management team in ongoing development of relevant content for website and blog by maintaining a calendar for these efforts
  • Some social media management

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or similar field
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and organize website content
  • Understanding of basic web development principles and best practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good time-management and self-discipline.
  • Experience working with a diverse team of technical and non-technical staff.

Additional preferred skills & qualifications:

  • One to three years of demonstrable experience managing website and/or marketing projects
  • Graphic design skills
  • Understanding of website compliance with ADA guidelines for accessibility for persons with disabilities.
  • Project management experience and/or training

Compensation:

Hourly. Negotiated based upon experience and qualifications.
PTO is available after 90 days of employment
