by | Oct 22, 2020 | Client Spotlight

Our colleagues at Walden Environmental Engineering have been running exciting workshop opportunities throughout October with Fort Wayne City Utilities. This year’s annual stormwater outreach workshop is titled “2020 Stormwater Management Advances: Technology and New Products” and is conducted virtually via Zoom due to COVID-19.

Stormwater Education and Outreach

Stormwater Management

Walden has been assisting City Utilities by moderating this important education and outreach program.  Throughout the month, City Utilities has hosted several speakers and guests through weekly presentations, each covering advancement in stormwater management. The sessions are two hours, with one more remaining, scheduled for Tuesday, October 27th at 2pm.

“Turnout this year has been great, even as limited to a virtual environment,” said Walden VP, Senior Project Manager Ted Nitza.  “However, this has enabled us to draw presenters from further away than usual. This gathering traditionally brings in more than 100 attendees from a mixture of the public sector, private sector and many contractors.  The city appreciates the diversity in the crowd, all of whom want to improve as water quality professionals.”

Find additional information on the program below, as well as a link to register for the final session to boost your knowledge of stormwater management and MS4 issues. Don’t miss out on this great opportunity to learn about the developments in stormwater and wetlands!
